Thesis Title: Lawful Interception of MobileIP based Networks.

Description: Today, the function of Lawful Interception (LI) in IP networks is typically performed by simple, naive systems which employ the use of traffic sniffers. Mobility enabling architectures, such as MobileIP, bring unique challenges to the act of Lawful Interception.
This study will examine ways in which Lawful Interception can be enabled in a MobileIP network. Particular emphasis will be on examining how to leverage the mobility of users in the act of Lawful Interception, and how to securely offer this service with regard to the general community's requirements for privacy and tamper-proof systems.
